Douglas joined Southwest in 2023 to become a certified financial advisor, where he is actively studying and training around the office to assist the team with operations. His background and experiences have given him a unique perspective, and he is passionate about helping others succeed. Douglas has passed the FINRA SIE exam and is studying for the 7 and 66.
Douglas is a recent graduate from the Eller College of Management, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in Finance.
During school, he gained practical experience by working in various local restaurants, and operating food pop-ups, where he managed the business aspects and ran the kitchen. In addition to his work in hospitality, Douglas completed a summer internship as a data analyst, where he gained valuable skills in data-driven decision making and analysis.
In his free time, Douglas enjoys hiking with his dog, skiing, reading, and traveling. He also finds woodworking and cooking to be satisfying passions, allowing him to express his creativity and get his hands dirty.
